Our Mission —

Your Partner in Navigating Palliative and Hospice Care.

We believe that Everyday Matters. Our mission is to provide access to resources, promote awareness, and advocate for hospice and palliative care in Brooks and beyond.

The Prairie Rose Hospice Palliative Care Society (PRHPCS) is a volunteer-led, non-profit organization that provides access to information and resources for palliative and end-of-life care. While we do not offer medical services, we empower individuals and families with tools to ensure comfort, dignity, and care during difficult times.

What is Hospice?

Hospice palliative care is a concept of care aimed at enhancing the quality of living and dying for individuals and their families.

It is for anyone of any age who is living with a progressive and/or life-threatening illness. Sooner or later, we are all affected by palliative care, whether directly or with someone we care about. Compassionate and personalized care can enhance the quality of a person’s remaining life journey.

Our mission is to offer support and education services to individuals and families navigating the challenges of serious illness and end-of-life care. We are here to provide compassionate guidance, resources, and emotional support, but we do not offer medical treatments or emergency interventions.
